Welcome to the Unitarian Fellowship of Storrs.

We are an open and affirming congregation, accepting all beliefs, orientations, economic status, and races.  We are a member lay-lead church with a part time minister - Robin Zucker.  We hold many services traditional to our congregation, including a water communion, Thanskgiving seder, Soltice services, Back to the Community holiday services, Easter breakfast, Earth Day, and an annual Ice Cream social.  Our Sunday services address a variety of topics, and we invite guest speakers on a variety of causes.

UFS was founded in 1957 as a lay fellowship at the home of Charles & Marjorie Lee to meet the needs of individuals seeking a community of spiritual acceptance.  In the 1960s, we built and dedicated our meetinghouse on Spring Hill Road in Storrs.  Now, UFS serves the Greater Windham area, with members from Storrs, Windham, Willimantic, Mansfield, Coventry, Stafford Springs and other local towns.  We are a socially active church, volunteering in many community organizations in our area.

For the young adults in the community we have a young adults group that meets during college holiday breaks, and are starting a UConn UU community to serve students at the nearby campus.

We pride ourselves on the warmth and inclusiveness of our community.  Please feel free to join us for a Sunday morning service at 10:30 am, and a social hour following the service.  Child care is available for Sunday services.

Our building is available for rentals during the week for meetings, weddings, or other group activities.  Please contact Ilona at 465-9169.

Please call our church President, Cathy White at 423-6727 for more information.
